Certainly IIUM needs someone like him who has clear and excellent vision in research. May IIUM join the other Research Uni soon. But somehow, we as Engineering Alumni, felt a big loss at the KoE. His name and KoE were very synonym. He carried the image of the KoE all the time. He was a great and friendly Dean.. it's difficult to find someone who can actually replace him. We pray that the new dean will somehow be able to cope with the standard that Prof. Faris has set during his tenure. Wassalam. Mungkin ada beberapa perkara yang perlu dilaksanakan oleh beliau disana.. Rasanya Deputy Retor di UIA sekarang berjumlah 4 orang (sebelum ini 3) Semoga Deputy Rector esp. Students Affairs & Alumni lebih terbuka dan mesra dengan Mahasiswa di Taman Ilmu dan Budi ini.. tahniah dan selamat menjalankan amanah kepada mereka...
