International Islamic University Islamic Malaysia (IIUM) continues its collaboration with Sirim Berhad (Sirim) in the medical field to produce bifunctional drug, BioDDS, specifically for bone injury treatment.
The Memorandom of Agreement (MoA) of the collaboration project ‘Advanced Delivery System Using Locally Produced Implantable Antibiotics Incorporated Apatite Beads for Bone Repair: BioDDS’ was signed on 29th July 2009 in IIUM.
IIUM Rector Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Syed Arabi Idid signed the MoA on behalf of IIUM, while Sirim President and Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Haji Yahaya Ahmad represented Sirim.
